Hair removal is done by sugaring, which the studio presents as a natural, organic, chemical-free alternative to waxing. Its paste is made from sugar, water and lemon juice with organic ingredients. Hair should be at least 1/8 inch (4mm) long, and clients are advised to avoid shaving first when possible. The studio says sugaring can still be done after recent shaving and that its water-soluble paste leaves no sticky residue. It also says sugaring is less painful than waxing, does not cause extended redness, is more hygienic than other methods, and suits almost all skin types, including sensitive areas.
Spray tans are customized to each client's skin tone and do not use UV exposure. The SugarBare Tan is a full-body spray with about eight hours of processing time, while the SugarBare Rapid Tan needs less time. The studio says its solution is free of harsh chemicals, fragrances and parabens, and that its products are free of erythrulose, urea and mineral oil and are listed as PETA Approved and Certified Vegan. The bronzer-free Clear Spray Tan is offered to brides and to clients with hyperpigmentation. Clients are asked to exfoliate as part of day-of prep, and the studio says an airbrush tan can be achieved in under a day and lasts up to a week.
Lash and brow services include lash tinting, eyebrow tinting, henna eyebrow tinting, brow lamination and lash lifts. Lash lifts are semi-permanent and last up to 6-8 weeks, brow lamination lasts up to 4-6 weeks, and henna stains the skin for up to 10 days. A VIP membership for sugaring and waxing is $55 a month with a three-month initial commitment, can be shared, and includes 15% off retail products. Loyalty and referral programs are offered, appointments can be booked online, parking is available, and the studio is open Tuesday and Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday 9am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm, and closed Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
The studio presents sugaring as a chemical-free alternative to waxing and says it uses safe, natural products in all services, following strict sterilization and sanitation protocols.
