Sugar Sugar Spa opened in Seattle's Green Lake neighborhood in 2007. Co-owner Claudia and her husband Ian acquired the spa in 2019, and a second location opened in Kirkland in 2025. Both locations keep the same hours: Monday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Friday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Every visit can begin with a complimentary 15-minute consultation, so the treatment can be shaped to the client. The menu is broad: hair removal by sugaring on the face, arms, legs, back, bikini area and body, facials in a range of lengths and levels, HydraFacials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microneedling, lash and brow services, and powder brows. The spa says its full-body sugaring, skincare and treatments are performed by expert technicians only.

Facials are built on Eminence customized facial products and the Eminence Biodynamic line. The CBD Facial adds CBD-infused products from GLYMED alongside the Biodynamic line. Some options are offered at one location only: the Oxygen Facial and the HydraFacials are available in Seattle, and the Oxygen Facial and HydraFacials must be booked by phone. Full Legs sugaring also has to be booked by calling the spa.

Sugaring is done with hair about a quarter inch long, and clients are asked not to apply body lotion or oils on the day of their appointment. Full Back Maintenance and loyalty Brazilian maintenance are available only within 5 weeks of the previous full back or Brazilian service, and loyalty prices are for returning clients.

Treatments are tailored to each client after a free 15-minute consultation.

The spa has a calming scent and a stylish décor.
