Facials are built around Gua Sha and herbal poultice treatments. The 75-minute Signature Gua Sha Facial uses stone tools and Eminence Organics botanicals, with a double cleanse, exfoliation, a customized mask, serums and a neck and shoulder massage. The 90-minute version adds steamed herbal poultice across the face, jaw, neck and decollete, along with Gua Sha sculpting, and uses a custom herbal blend that includes Java apple, patchouli, geranium and roselle (hibiscus). Shorter options include a 30-minute Express Custom Facial and a 30-minute Back Facial, which includes steam, extractions as needed and a hot-towel treatment for the back and shoulders. LED is suggested as an add-on for back acne.

Sugaring is done with an organic sugar paste, which the studio describes as premium and all natural. Services range from small areas such as the chin, sideburns and brows to full legs, full back and Brazilian work, and combination packages for several zones. A Sugar Cube package is four Brazilian or bikini sessions for $300. First-time sugaring clients are advised to let hair grow to about 1/8 inch, to exfoliate the week before, and to shower, lightly exfoliate and cleanse on the day. Clients may take ibuprofen about 30 minutes before the appointment for comfort, since sugaring stings a little.

The studio is open Tuesday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm, and Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and is closed Monday, Saturday and Sunday. It follows health and safety standards set by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, and sanitizes high-touch areas, surfaces, drapes, sheets and towels between clients. Clients with illness symptoms or a fever within 24 hours of an appointment are asked to reschedule, and immune-compromised clients can note this when booking. eGift cards are sold for $65, $100, $130, $150 or a custom amount, and enhanced brow shaping is also offered.

Organic and botanical care: facials use Eminence Organics and herbal blends, and the studio avoids parabens, mineral oil, petroleum, sodium lauryl sulphate and animal products.

Scents come only from pure essential oils, with no synthetic fragrance.
