The sugar paste is made from natural sugar cane sugar, water and lemon juice. It removes hair from the root and is applied in the direction hair grows. According to the business, sugaring is hygienic and hypoallergenic, and the paste is non-allergenic.
The treatment room has heating and air conditioning and is described as a comfortable, relaxing workspace. Sugar-Smooth notes that sugaring can take longer and may need several passes on thick, coarse hair, where waxing might suit better. It does not use wax or wax strips.
