Subi Beauty Studio

Subi Beauty Studio is a bridal, event, and personalized makeup studio in Houston. Services are by appointment only, with studio sessions in a private space and on-location work available nearby. The studio says it has served more than 500 clients.

Each look is planned around the person. Bridal makeup is custom to the dress, the theme and the client's skin, and is meant to last through the day, with a trial recommended two to four weeks before the wedding. Event and evening makeup, for galas, banquets and parties, is finished to look good on camera and set to wear long; clients are asked to say whether the lighting will be indoor, outdoor or stage.

Daily and natural makeup is a polished, lighter look for work and everyday wear, with skin prep, a natural eye, light contour and a finished look. Stage makeup is made for performers and children age 5 and up, for recitals, theater and cultural events. Hair styling covers bridal updos, event styles and blowouts.

Makeup lessons are one-on-one sessions of 60 to 90 minutes, shaped to the client's face, tools and routine. They include a technique assessment, guided practice, product recommendations and a take-home tips sheet, and clients bring their own makeup bag. Group classes are offered alongside private lessons, and photoshoot hair and makeup, bridal services and men's grooming are also listed.
