The braiding menu includes kinky twists, lemonade braids, individual braids, Senegalese twists and braid updos. Sitting times run from about three hours for an updo to five hours for Senegalese twists, and individual braid pricing can change with hair length.
Sisterlocks work begins with a 45-minute consultation for $50, which is required before booking an establishment package. The consultation covers the locking process, an examination of the hair, lock maintenance and hair care. Establishment takes about 12 hours and starts at $1,500 for hair up to 4 inches, with the total depending on length. A follow-up retightening is included and should be booked two to three weeks after installation.
Ongoing Sisterlocks and microlocks care includes retightening, which is priced at $245 for clients at four to six weeks and $285 for clients at seven to eight weeks, with extra hours at $80 each. Clients moving from another provider can book a transfer, and locks with holes or slippage can be repaired using the interlocking method.
Every visit requires an appointment and a non-refundable $50 deposit. If a client reschedules, the deposit moves to the new appointment. Prices and policies may change at any time.
Consultation comes first for the larger Sisterlocks services, so the hair is examined and the work is planned before any locking begins.
