Styled By Dawn is an independent hair styling practice in Ellisville, run from inside Nuovo Salon and Spa at Clarkson Clayton Center. The menu spans color, highlights, haircuts, hair extensions, perms, styling and treatments, and the owner, Dawn Pizzarelli, does the work personally.

The color menu runs from a semi-permanent glaze that adds shine or temporary tone, to touch-ups that blend new growth into natural or previously colored hair with a blowout included. Ombre blends two contrasting shades from roots to ends, and All Over Color covers the full head. For highlights, options range from a few individual foils, to partial and full foil sets, to balayage for a more natural, sun-kissed result. A blonde touch-up on the scalp is also offered, and Color and Partial Foil combines the two.

Hair extensions can be added for volume, length or both. Bellami is used in Volume Weft, Infinity Weft, Keratin Tips and I-Tip styles, and other extension brands are also available. Installing one row of weft and moving up an existing row are both offered, and a consultation is available to talk through options before booking. Perms add curl, and a curl or flat iron service handles event styling on clean, dry hair. Up dos are available for special occasions.

The studio is open Tuesday from 9am to 6pm, Wednesday from 9am to 8pm, Thursday from 9am to 6pm, and Friday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm, closed Mondays and Sundays. Gift cards can be booked. Contact is by phone or email.
