StylarLux works from a suite at Salontra Select Suites on Baltimore National Pike. Appointments are booked online through its Setmore page, and the menu covers boho and regular knotless braids, stitch and butterfly braids, island twists, faux locs, ponytails, quick weaves and sew-ins.
Planning ahead matters here. Each booking needs a $15 deposit, which is not refunded, and cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice. Arriving 20 minutes late cancels the appointment and the deposit is kept. Only the client may attend, with no extra guests, including children, and clients must be 16 or older. Payment is by Apple Pay or cash.
Hair is not included in the service. Clients bring their own braiding hair, and quick weaves and sew-ins also need their own bundles, since the studio does not supply bundles or wigs. Most braided styles call for pre-stretched hair, and clients should mention any conditions their hair has when they book and arrive ready on the day.
After the service, clients are asked to share honest feedback on the finished style right away. The studio says it will not serve clients who raise problems hours later. Questions and concerns can be sent by phone, email or social media.
Clients bring their own hair, bundles and curls for each style, and the menu is set out by style and length.
