Tanya opened StudioTM in 2020, after about a decade working at a local salon. The studio is set up as a more intimate, transparent and elevated alternative to a larger salon, and it is a dedicated space where clients can relax.

The studio is gratuity-free, and the salon describes its pricing as having no added costs at checkout. Color services include all-over color, mini touch-up balayage, maintenance updates, foil and full color transformations. Full color transformation starts at $290 and takes about three hours, while all-over color starts at $170.

Cutting is done with a straight razor or clippers. Haircuts with no style start at $80, clipper cuts start at $60, and a cut with blow-dry style starts at $110. Blowouts and styling are $100 and exclude pinning, braiding and upstyling.

Some services carry booking rules. New clients pay a $25 deposit for several color and styling services. Mini touch-up balayage is limited to returning guests whose last balayage was 12 weeks ago or less, and it is done by Tanya. Add-on haircuts can only be added to a color service. Clients who cannot attend are asked to give 48 hours' notice, or a 50% service fee applies. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval before the appointment.
