Studio Sohn was founded in June 2015 by Sarah Sohn and works mainly with lash extensions, lash lifts, brow services, microblading, ombre brows and Korean-style lip work. The studio describes itself as the first to bring the keratin lash lift to Ventura County and the first to bring Korean lip line and lip blush to Los Angeles; these are the studio's own claims.

The menu is grouped into lashes, brows, lips, touch-ups, house calls and private training. Lash extensions come in classic, volume, mega volume, wet, anime, blend, hour and K-pop styles, in several looks including Super Natural, Longer in the Middle, Cat Eye and Glam, and any style can be made wispy. Colored pop lashes with ombre and UV shades are also available. Lash fills are accepted when roughly 40-50% of the previous set remains, and fills at four weeks or later are treated as full sets.

Brow work includes brow lamination, which shapes and darkens a client's own brow hairs without being invasive, along with brow tinting, waxing and shaping. Microblading and ombre brows are semi-permanent, and the studio asks microblading clients to make contact before booking so candidacy can be checked. Lip work covers the Korean lip line, lip tint or lip blush, lip neutralization for color correction on naturally pigmented lips, combinations and beauty marks. Lip clients are asked to send a photo before booking, and certain conditions and recent procedures rule out lip work.

House calls cover lash extensions, lash lifts and brow lamination within the Calabasas to Santa Monica area. They are priced differently from studio appointments, need an inquiry by text, and require about 10 feet of space near the home entry, an outlet, and close or validated parking; they are not available in apartments. Private training courses are also offered, starting at $850.

Booking policies ask for cancellations or reschedules at least 48 hours ahead, with 7 days notice for microblading, ombre brow and lip appointments. Deposits are generally non-refundable and count toward the total, no-shows are charged in full, and arriving 15 minutes late may mean a shortened or rescheduled visit. Payment is accepted by Zelle, Venmo and cash. Street parking is available a few feet past the meters in front of the building; parking behind the buildings is not allowed.

Each visit begins with a style consultation for brows, lips and lashes, and the studio selects products for quality.
