Studio SkinSmith is a boutique skincare studio at Elvas Avenue in East Sacramento. It was opened in 2023 by its owner, Rahnie Wood, an esthetician who has worked in skin care since 2009.
The menu runs from a 30-minute dermaplaning add-on and brow services to HydraFacial treatments, enzyme and microdermabrasion facials, and chemical peels. The Platinum HydraFacial takes about 1 hour 30 minutes and adds lymphatic drainage and red LED light therapy; the studio describes it as its most complete HydraFacial. The Glass Skin Facial, about 1 hour 15 minutes, includes double cleansing, ozone steam, extractions, dermaplaning and an Oxygen Dome, and the studio calls it its most involved facial.
Treatments and skincare regimens use lilac + flint products, and regimens are customized to the client. The Custom Enzyme Facial relies on fruit and plant enzymes rather than mechanical scrubbing, and the formula for a Micro Peel is chosen at the visit.
The studio is open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Skincare regimens are customized to each client and built with lilac + flint products.
