Studio Monroe was built by its owner, Elley Monroe, as a one-on-one studio. Appointments are private and are never rushed or double-booked, and guests are offered a beverage during their visit.

Color is the core of the studio. The Signature Experience is a long color service for dimensional, lived-in color meant to grow out over 12 or more weeks, and it includes a personalized color plan, a bond-building treatment, a precision cut, a scalp massage and a finished blowout. The Refresh Experience and the Gloss & Go Mini Refresh cover root coverage, grey blending and quicker gloss or touch-up visits. The Transformation Experience is a full color change for major shifts such as going lighter, going darker or correcting earlier color, and only one guest is booked for it per day. Extensions and hair treatments make up the rest of the menu. A complimentary extension consultation plans length, fullness, color, maintenance and total cost before any work begins. The Extension Experience includes installation and tailored conditioning, and extension clients are limited to one per day. Keratin smoothing and the K-18 conditioning treatment are offered on their own or alongside color.

Makeup services include a bridal makeup experience that starts with a personalized trial, a luxury application for events, photoshoots and milestones, and a hands-on lesson on a signature look with product recommendations.

Booking requires a credit card. Cancellations or reschedules need 48 hours' notice, and late changes or no-shows may be charged a 50% fee. Clients are asked to call the owner directly about changes or to reach the assistant, and questions can be sent through the site's contact form.

Each client gets a plan built around their hair and lifestyle, and appointments are kept limited so every visit stays unhurried.
