Studio Milan was established in 2023 by owner and stylist Rilan Acosta, who began working in the beauty industry in 2018. The salon operates out of Suite 10 at Sola Salon Suites on Metairie Road.

The menu covers cuts and blowouts for adults and children under 12, toner and glaze, root retouches, lowlights, partial and full foil highlights, and balayage. Smoothing options include a Brazilian blowout and a liquid keratin treatment, each lasting four to six months. Brow tinting, brow and lip waxing, makeup application and trials, and deep conditioning are also offered.

The salon is open Tuesday through Thursday, 10 AM to 7 PM, and closed Monday and Sunday. Clients are asked to give at least 36 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments without notice are treated as no-shows, and late cancellations or no-shows forfeit the deposit and incur a fee of 25% of the remaining service cost. Package credits apply automatically at checkout, and services booked outside standard hours carry a $30 after-hours charge with a $25 deposit. Paid consultations and trials are available before larger color or makeup work.
