Studio L is a nail salon in New York City focused on gel work and nail art. The menu is built around gel manicures and pedicures, with a range of extension systems, refills and removal options. Regular polish manicures are no longer offered.
Pricing is listed per service. A One Color gel manicure is $60, and a Bio Sculpture One Color gel manicure is $65; long nails add $5 to $10 to either. Nail art add-ons are priced individually, including chrome or magnet designs at $20, chrome French at $30, and marble designs at $30. Extra colors are $2 each, color mixing is $5 per color, and a hard or matte gel top coat is $10.
Appointments are made by calling or texting 646-499-5357, as email is not used for booking. Clients are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early, since services start and end on time. Cancellations or rescheduling need at least 24 hours notice, and last-minute cancellations or no-shows carry a $30 fee. Future reservations are not held for clients who have missed an appointment.
Enhancements and gel polish manicures are guaranteed for 7 business days, not counting breakage. Within that period, lost enhancements, chips or lifting qualify for a free repair. Concerns about the nails need to be raised before payment, so the salon can adjust them or remove enhancements or coatings. Service and gift card sales are final, and gift cards are not redeemable once reported lost or stolen.
