Studio K

Studio K is a hair business in Billerica that operates by appointment only.

Booking is done online through the website, and a valid credit card must be on file to reserve a time. Walk-ins are not accepted. The studio is open Tuesday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm, Thursday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and it is closed Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.

Clients are asked to disclose any earlier chemical treatments such as color, perms or straightening before their appointment. Haircuts are booked with clean, dry hair, and color services with clean hair. Clients may bring food or drinks and may use headphones during appointments.

The studio sets out its terms clearly. Late cancellations and changes with less than 24 hours' notice are charged half the scheduled price, and missed appointments without contact are charged most of the service price. Prices can shift with hair length, density and complexity, or if extra product or time is needed. Refunds are not offered, but concerns raised within three days can be discussed for possible adjustments. Only the client being serviced may be in the studio, and children are welcome only with a scheduled appointment.

For gray coverage, the studio notes that root concealer and scalp camouflage products can interfere with results, so full coverage cannot be guaranteed while they are present unless a clarifying service is done first. Gift cards are available in fixed amounts or a custom amount, and can be sent by text or email.
