The salon was opened by owner and color master Corey Schmitt after years of working in salons. Color services include balayage.

New clients complete a consultation form that covers hair history, hair goals and the services they want. The salon contacts new clients within 48 hours of form submission to set up an appointment. The first visit opens with a thorough consultation before any service begins, and consultations are complimentary. WiFi, beverages and music are available during appointments. The phone line is text-only, so email or text is the way to reach the salon.

After extension services, the salon gives aftercare guidance on brushing, washing, drying, sleeping, swimming and sun protection. It also recommends certain product types and names a few products to avoid.
