Studio A opened with a simple aim: to make every client feel special. Owner Annette Hyche has run the studio since 2000, and she and her staff together bring more than twenty-five years of experience in the beauty industry.
The studio is arranged to feel relaxed and comfortable, with the goal that clients leave with the result they came for. Services cover spray tanning, waxing, facials and microdermabrasion, along with packages that bundle several visits. Clients can book online through Vagaro or by calling 205-447-5343.
Spray tans are applied by a certified technician using a controlled airbrush sprayer and an all-natural solution, which the salon describes as award-winning. Clients should wait at least eight hours before showering, and the salon says the tan lasts five to ten days. Single sessions cost $45, five sessions $200 and ten sessions $350.
Waxing is done with a low-heat hard wax rather than traditional resin. According to the salon, results last three to four weeks, or five to six weeks with repeated waxing. Facials run 30, 45 or 60 minutes at $50, $75 or $95, and microdermabrasion is $70 for the face in 30 minutes or $100 for the face and neck in 45 minutes. Brazilian Blowout treatments are also offered.
Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 10 to 6, Thursday 10 to 8, Friday 10 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 3. The studio is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
