The studio combines green chemistry with a holistic approach to hair care. Its hair products are the Oway organic line, used in the salon, which are organic and fair trade and free of ammonia, formaldehyde, parabens and sulfates. Oway packaging uses amber glass bottles and jars and aluminum tubes, with less overpackaging. Skincare comes from Beautycounter, chosen for simpler and safer ingredients.

Services are grouped into Treatments, Extensions, Haircuts, Blowdry Bar and Hair Color. The Blowdry Bar sells single blow dries, prepaid 4 and 8 packs, and monthly membership packs, with iron work available as an add-on. Blow dries on the monthly membership do not carry over to the next month.

According to the salon, its San Diego hair studio is one of a small number that is clean-air, fume-free and environmentally conscious.
