Stonhart Academy provides hands-on esthetics education for licensed estheticians and cosmetologists. It offers more than 30 advanced courses for licensed professionals and says it offers over 30 board-approved certification courses, and elsewhere lists 40-plus certifications. Advanced courses are open only to licensed estheticians and cosmetologists and are not open to instructors or educators registering for them. Students outside Massachusetts can take the online courses. Advanced topics include brow lifting and tinting, brow threading, brazilian waxing, dermaplaning, microneedling, and training on Dr. Platon Cold Plasma and Aquasure H2+ technologies.

The 600-hour esthetics program is a licensed program intended to prepare students to become licensed estheticians. It is described as state approved and as meeting or exceeding state standards, and the school calls it premier. It includes 220 hours of clinical practice and covers skin science, facial treatments, waxing and hair removal, makeup artistry and business education. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, must be at least 18, and need government-issued identification. Students must pass the written Massachusetts state licensing exam; no practical exam is required. The program is offered as a day schedule running Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 2pm with 4 remote hours weekly, completing in about 28 weeks, or as an evening schedule running Tuesday through Thursday, 5:30pm to 9:30pm with 4 remote hours weekly, completing in about 35 weeks. Tuition can be paid through flexible in-house plans or Shop Pay Installments. The school does not guarantee employment after graduation but offers career support, resume building and interview preparation.

The student clinic offers facials, waxing, brow and lash services and makeup. Treatments are performed either by students in training or by professionals learning an advanced technique, always under direct instructor supervision, and are offered at a discounted rate. Clinic services run on select Sundays and Mondays, when advanced courses are taught, and during parts of the 600-hour program. Clinic dates are announced by email to people who sign up for clinic emails.

Beyond training, Stonhart sells its own Stonhart Skin line of skincare, along with Stonhart Vitality Mist, sunless tanning and wax products. Retail skincare can be bought online, and some items, such as backbar products and dermaplaning blades, are sold to licensed professionals only. Wholesale accounts for licensed beauty professionals give access to professional pricing and are approved within 24 to 48 hours.
