Stewart Hair

Stewart Hair is run by Sara Racheff from a private suite at Salon Lofts in Roswell. The salon takes its name from Stewart, the working name she used for twelve years at a previous salon, and it is the name she uses on her blog as well.

A first visit includes a free 30-minute consultation. Clients are asked to bring inspiration photos, and at the first appointment the stylist looks at hair texture, face shape and how much upkeep a client wants. Haircuts run 60 minutes and include a consultation, shampoo and blowout, and complimentary drinks and snacks are offered at appointments.

Appointments are booked online through Gloss Genius. A credit card is needed to hold a booking, and payment can be made by card, cash or check. Clients with much thicker than average hair, or who want a very dramatic change, should contact the salon before booking online. Questions sent through the website form are answered within 24 hours, Tuesday through Friday.

The suite is in the Roswell Marketplace shopping center at the corner of Alpharetta Highway and Mansell Road, with free and plentiful parking. Enter through the back of the Salon Lofts building, near the Sprouts side; the suite is the second room on the left. Booking hours are Wednesday 10 AM to 7:30 PM and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9 AM to 2:30 PM, with the salon closed Monday, Saturday and Sunday. The building can run chilly, so a light jacket is a good idea.
