Stephy Nailed It

Stephy Nailed It is located on Paramount Boulevard in South Gate and works with manicures, pedicures, nail art, removal and repair. The salon also offers ear piercing, which is listed separately from the nail menu.

The nail art menu is arranged in four tiers that rise with the number of accent nails and the level of detail. Tier One covers minimal designs such as solid colors, French tips, ombré, chrome French, simple cat eye and glitter gel on up to two accent nails. Tier Two adds gems, simple airbrush, isolated chrome, stripes, dots and simple 3D lines on up to three accent nails. Tier Three moves to charms, gems, 3D art and detailed airbrush on up to eight accent nails. Tier Four is fully custom work on all ten nails, with each nail done differently, by hand-painting or intricate designs.

The Russian Manicure is a dry manicure that includes detailed cuticle preparation, e-file shaping, gel application and a cuticle oil finish. Gel pedicures are also offered. Gel, hard gel and Gel-X enhancements can be removed, and nail repair is available for cracks, splits or breakage on natural nails or enhancements.

Booking is done in advance, and gel pedicure and ear piercing appointments require a $25 deposit. Some other appointments may require a nonrefundable deposit to hold the booking. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are charged 50% of the service total, and no-shows are charged the full total and may need to prepay for the next visit. A 10-minute grace period applies to late arrivals, and a late fee may apply. Clients are asked to arrive a few minutes early. Children and extra guests are only allowed if they are also getting a service.
