Steph Doan Hair is located in Suite 5 of the Sola Salons building on Clairemont Drive in San Diego. It is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Cuts are offered for women and for men. A women's haircut starts at $90 for 60 minutes and a men's haircut starts at $50 for 45 minutes. Shampoo and blowdry starts at $60 for 60 minutes, and a conditioning add-on starting at $30 for 15 minutes can be added to a visit.

Color work makes up a large part of the menu. A gloss or toner starts at $110 for 75 minutes, and the salon suggests refreshing it every six to eight weeks; it does not include blonding or highlights. Root touch-ups or gray coverage start at $100 for 120 minutes, and all-over color starts at $150 for 120 minutes. Neither of those includes highlight or balayage blonding.

Blonding is offered in three sizes. Mini blonding, which means face-frame highlights or 10 to 15 foils, starts at $200 for 150 minutes. Partial blonding starts at $230 for 180 minutes, and full blonding starts at $280 for 240 minutes. Mini, partial and full blonding each include a gloss, a root tap, and a shampoo and blowdry. Extra bowls of color cost $10, depending on hair texture, length and the result wanted. Several blonding and color services can also be booked with a haircut at a combined price.

An extensions consultation costs $35 for 30 minutes and is used to talk through desired length, color and a suitable extension method. Cancellations or no-shows made within 24 hours of the appointment carry a 50% fee. Gift cards are sold in amounts of $50, $75, $100 or $200, or in a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.
