Status Hair Studio has two Miami locations: a Brickell studio at 777 Brickell Ave, Suite 170, and a Midtown location at 2804 NE 2nd Ave. The business specializes in hair extensions, color and treatments.

INVISI Links are small bonds, each weighing 0.5 grams, that the salon says suit all hair types, including fine or thinning hair; the salon states they are four times smaller than comparable K-tips, I-tips and beads, and they are maintained quarterly, up to every 3 months. Tape-in extensions suit medium to thick hair and have a 2-month maintenance cycle. Genius Wefts are also for medium to thick hair and are aimed at maximum volume, with a 3-month maintenance cycle.

The hair is 100% human Slavic hair, which the salon says is ethically sourced from Eastern Europe and processed in European facilities. Products are free of silicone and synthetic hair. Extensions can be reused across several maintenance cycles, for up to 12 months. At each maintenance visit the extensions are removed, reconditioned and reinstalled. Each location keeps more than 1,000 individual pieces in lengths from 18 to 30 inches.

A visit can start with a complimentary 15-minute consultation with no pressure to book. It covers an assessment of natural hair, trying different extensions, reviewing installation methods with their pros and cons, and budget. For color, the team can hand-blend 2 to 4 shades on the spot to match the client's hair.

Pricing depends on the method, natural hair volume and desired length. The salon states it is transparent about prices and clear about maintenance costs.
