Station Row, LLC has two locations: one on Lincoln Street in Newton Highlands and one on Masonic Place in Provincetown. Matthew Carlson, the owner, leads a team that includes stylists, an esthetician and an intern.

The menu covers haircuts, color, styling and extensions. Color ranges from gloss and single process to foil highlights and balayage, with balayage starting at $200. Haircuts run from children's cuts to barbering and adult cuts in short and long lengths, and at Newton the haircut menu includes a blowdry. Smoothing options include Brazilian Blowout and Keratin treatments.

Milbon scalp and conditioning treatments can be added to a cut or color visit. Hair extensions by Silks begin with a $50 consultation, which is deducted from the extension service fee.

Clients can book online or by calling the Newton salon. Newton is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with longer hours midweek. Provincetown is open Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm during its season.

The salon says it selects products and tools with hair condition in mind and keeps up with current hair trends and styles.
