Visits usually begin with a free color consultation, about 10 minutes long, where the stylist talks through the client's goals before anything is booked. Haircuts are customized to the client and range from sharp and soft to textured and bold cuts.
Color menus cover highlights, blonding, and vivid shades. Longer color appointments are typically booked at least 165 minutes, and vivid services require a non-refundable deposit that goes toward the service. Add-on services and a la carte options are also offered for smaller changes.
Booking is handled through the Gloss Genius link, by direct message, or by message. A card on file is required to hold an appointment, and walk-ins are generally not accepted, though certain days are set aside for them. Changes need at least 48 hours' notice, and cancellations inside that window carry a fee of 30% of the service cost. Late arrivals get a 10-minute grace period for color and 15 minutes for haircuts, after which the appointment may be canceled.
Planning is built around each client's goals, starting with a no-charge consultation, and the studio aims for results that suit the individual.
