Star Faced Esthetics

Star Faced Esthetics is a private skin-health studio on the third level of a building attached to Erewhon on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. Founded in 2020 by the esthetician Starla, the studio focuses on acne and skin health and takes clients for a range of concerns, including pigmentation, sensitivity, aging and routine maintenance. No specific concern is needed to book. Parking is available in an attached garage, and metered street parking is also an option.

Visits are one-on-one and booked online, and walk-ins are not accepted. Treatments are planned on the day of the appointment from each client's skin history, skin barrier, current routine, lifestyle and sensitivities. Extractions are offered when the skin needs them and are done with care. Facials take place under red lights with music playing.

New clients often begin with The Introduction, which pairs a 30 to 40 minute in-depth consultation with a full-length treatment. It also includes a custom skincare routine, a step-by-step digital routine template, skin education and resources, a detailed debrief after the appointment, and one-on-one support. I Just Want a Facial is a separate option for those who want a facial without the full introduction.

Virtual consultations cover skin, current products, goals and a home care routine and plan. They are open to local clients as well as people outside the Los Angeles area. The online shop sells skincare from a wide range of brands, is open to anyone including non-clients, and ships throughout the U.S. Products recommended as part of a routine are best bought through the studio so the team can give ongoing guidance, while products clients already own can be kept.
