The salon sits on a corner where Union Avenue, Clinton Avenue and Springfield Avenue meet, next to DHL and facing Springfield Avenue. Clients can book by phone or email, and a $25 deposit is required to secure an appointment. The salon says it guarantees its service and that it follows New Jersey health and safety rules.
Loc work is the core of the menu. Services are grouped into wicks and wick tightening, starter and startup dreads, instant locs, retwists, root maintenance, loc repair, restoration, detox, permanent loc extensions, reattachments, re-parting and freeform dread work. Loc coverage is also offered for alopecia and hair loss, including creating a hairline.
Styling services cover two strand twists, barrels, rods, braids, curls and updos. The salon also offers interlocking, micro locs, sister locs, oil treatments, cornrows and petal styles. Children are welcome, and kids' hair services are available.
The salon is a full-service loc salon that washes and conditions natural hair and locs with brand-name products.
Clients can choose their own music, and free WiFi and parking are available.
