SQ Hair Studio is a Phoenix salon on Cave Creek Road that works across hair, grooming, waxing and a few scalp and skin services. The menu is broad, so a single visit can cover a haircut for a child, a color appointment, or a shave.

The hair menu includes women's, girls', men's and kids' cuts, a haircut with blowout that includes a pre-cut, a wash, the cut and a blow-dry, and a range of color work such as highlights, single-process retouches and men's single color. Perms, Brazilian blowouts, deep conditioning, hair extensions, undercuts with design, bangs, hair designs and dreadlock consultations are also offered. For perms, the process starts with a conversation about the client's goal, followed by clarifying shampoo, rods, perm solution, neutralizer and conditioner. Clients are asked not to wash their hair for 48 to 72 hours afterward.

Grooming for men covers head and beard hot towel shaves, which the studio uses to soften facial hair and skin before a close shave and to reduce irritation from the straight razor, plus beard line-ups and men's hair line-ups. Waxing covers eyebrow shaping, lip, nose and facial wax.

The salon is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and it is closed on Sundays. Clients can book by calling (602) 992-0957 or by emailing sqhairstudio1@gmail.com.
