A visit starts with a valet arriving at the chosen location with all supplies. The client needs an outlet and an open area of at least 5 feet by 5 feet for setup. The valet uses an airbrush inside a pop-up tent to keep the spray contained. Clients book, reschedule, cancel and pay through the app or web app, and can text or call their valet through the app up to 2 hours before the appointment.
The signature solution is organic, scent-free and brown sugar based, and the business states it is 99% organic. It dries quickly, with color developing in about 4 hours, and the tan typically lasts 7 to 10 days. The valet can adjust the color of the solution to each client's natural skin tone. The business says the solution will never make a client look orange.
Day-rate sessions run from 9 AM to 9 PM, with the last one starting at 8:30 PM, and late-night sessions run from 9 PM to 9 AM. Home sessions are priced at $90 by day and $145 late at night; hotel sessions are $110 by day and $165 late at night. A 20% gratuity is added automatically at booking. Los Angeles extended ZIP codes carry a surcharge of $5 to $30, and Las Vegas extended ZIP codes carry a surcharge of $10 or $20.
Group spray tanning is available for bridal parties, girls' nights and other events, and the business lists weddings, pool parties, nightclubs, beach days and hotel visits as occasions it serves. Membership tans can be used at hotels, with the hotel fee charged at booking. Gift cards are offered at $108 in either city, covering one spray tan plus the 20% tip, or in custom amounts. Subscribers receive a weekly Color Boost email.
Spray Valet handles booking, rescheduling and payment through its app, and the valet tailors the solution color to each client on site.
