New clients begin with either Curl Discovery, a roughly 1.5-hour visit with a full consultation and a lesson during the wash and style, or the New Client Curly Cut, about 2.5 hours, which includes the same consultation and lesson plus a customized Spinning Curls cut. First appointments run long and cover curl goals, lifestyle, how much time a client has for hair care, and basics of curl care and gut health.
Return clients book Spinning Curls cuts priced from $65 to $184 depending on the cut. Appointment length depends on the style, from about an hour for a pixie or traditional men's style to about two hours for hair well below shoulder length, a new pixie, or hair that tangles easily. A shorter express option is available for a personalized dry curly cut only.
Color services include Color Retouch, which covers regrowth up to 2.5 inches, and All Over Color, which covers roots and lengths. Curly highlights range from $222 to $346 and vary in contrast and in how much lighter and darker color is added. Vivid Curl Safe Fantasy Colors are custom, priced at $92 per hour, and require a pre-lightening service unless the hair is already pre-lightened. Clients wanting vivid color are asked to contact the studio for a consultation before booking.
The head spa menu includes the Head Spa Experience at $143, with an exfoliating scalp scrub, clarifying wash, extended scalp massage, curl-defining conditioning, and aromatherapy steam. Red Light Therapy, a 10-minute infrared scalp treatment at $33, can be added to it, and Reiki Energy Healing, a 20-minute session at $33, can be added to any service or booked alone.
To help clients arrive prepared, the studio asks that hair be freshly cleansed, detangled, and dry before a cut, with no oils beforehand, and that hairbands, clips, or hats be left off, except root clips. Clients are invited to bring inspiration photos, including styles they dislike. The website also offers how-to videos on wrapping hair for sleep and on detangling while conditioning.
