Spectrum Color Bar

Spectrum Color Bar is a salon suite in Rocklin, located inside My Salon Suites at 6810 Five Star Blvd. The business describes itself as a luxury vivid hair color salon, and its aim is to welcome anyone who wants to bring more color and creativity into their everyday look through hair color tailored to them.

The suite is run by owner Kristen Niles, a vivid hair color specialist with over four years in the hair industry. Clients are seen one-on-one, away from the crowds of larger salons, and the business describes the space as an inclusive, colorful place for everyone.

Vivid color and blonding are the core services. Most color and blonding appointments take four or more hours, and prices for these services range from $250 to $600. Custom wigs are also offered; a wig starts with a consultation, and a $300 deposit is taken once the wig is ordered.

New clients need an in-person consultation before booking. At that visit, a test strand may be taken to check hair condition. New clients also pay a one-time, non-refundable $50 deposit, applied to their service and sent by Venmo or Apple Pay. New clients can book by submitting the new client application or calling to set up a consultation.

The suite is open Monday through Sunday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Cancellations made more than 24 hours ahead can be made by phone or message; late cancellations incur a fee of 50% of the appointment price, and unpaid fees prevent rebooking.

Color is planned around each client, with the aim of making hair color unique and personal to them.
