Visits begin with a free 15-minute consultation, which is in person and has no commitment, so clients can talk through what they want from their hair before booking. Clients are welcome to request a quiet appointment or to have a more in-depth conversation during the visit. Complimentary drinks and snacks are offered during appointments.

Color is booked in blocks of two, three, four or five hours, with each block matched to a type of service: root color or one-step all-over color, bleach and tone or balayage, fantasy colors, and extra creative colors. Haircuts are split between new clients, who get a longer cut that includes an in-depth consultation, and returning clients. Clients whose last cut was five or more months ago, or who want a drastic change, are asked to choose a shorter time option than usual.

The front door is kept locked. On the day of an appointment, clients receive a text with a link to unlock it and directions to the studio. Parking is available in the lot or on the street. Gift cards are sold in set amounts or custom values, and gift card sales are final.
