The salon is open 11am to 7pm and works by appointment only. There is no front desk and no phone line, so clients reach a stylist through that person's scheduling link. Appointment times are reservations rather than guaranteed start times: the salon may adjust a start time, and clients may reschedule.

Sparrow is Green Circle certified. The salon recommends R&Co and Hairstory cleansing products, and carries Kevin Murphy products that are sold only in the salon. Pets are not allowed inside, except guide animals.

Cancellations made with 24 to 48 hours' notice are charged half of the reserved service amount. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, are charged the full reserved amount.
