A new patient's first step is an assessment with a doctor, who reviews health history, lifestyle, genetics and symptoms. A first naturopathic appointment typically runs about an hour and covers health history, a diet and stress review, and possibly an exam and tests. Labs and diagnostics are reviewed with the patient, and the doctor then builds a custom plan and adjusts it as progress is seen. Consultations can be in person or by telehealth. The Solana Beach clinic is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a midday break from 12 to 1pm, and blood draws start at 7:30am; blood draws at the clinic are complimentary.

The weight loss program offers plans with and without medication. The compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide options start at $299 per month and include monthly doctor visits, doctor support between visits, quarterly labs and a one-month medication supply, with shipping extra; higher doses add about $50 per month. The clinic states that compounded weight loss medications are not FDA-approved and that FDA-approved semaglutide products are available. The no-medication program begins with a 45-minute consultation for $375, with labs billed separately. The clinic expects about 1 to 2 pounds of weight loss per week once the best dose is found, which can take one to two months on average, and it does not guarantee results or offer refunds on weight loss packages.

The hormone services cover women in perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause, and women with hormone-related symptoms, including menopause, irregular periods, PMS, hair loss, thyroid, osteoporosis, fatigue and fertility. The $499 Hormone Balance Program includes an initial hormone-focused visit, a blood draw, a lab review and treatment plan visit, and a brief phone call about four weeks later; prescriptions, products and supplements are extra. Men's care addresses low testosterone, erectile dysfunction and related concerns. Menopause care is offered in person or by telehealth.

Spark Health also offers IV nutrient bags in fast and full sizes, vitamin injections at $45 each, and an NAD+ injection at $60. New patients can book only fast bags until recent CBC or CMP labs have been reviewed. Microneedling facials use the SkinPen device and Skin Authority products, and a complimentary consultation with a doctor is available beforehand. Testing options range from food sensitivity panels and a full micronutrient test to early cancer and dementia screening and cardiovascular imaging, and the clinic sells supplements through an online store.
