Spa World, operated by Spa World, LLC, is at 929 Westgreen Blvd in Katy. The business describes itself as Houston's Korean-inspired spa and sauna and lists service areas across the Houston region and beyond. The spa is open 9 am to 10 pm every day, with non-members checking in until 9 pm. On site are a Korean restaurant, a cafe, a bar, iGolf, karaoke rooms, a sleep zone, conference rooms, an outdoor terrace and a movie theater.
Visits begin with general admission, which covers full-day access to the bath areas, saunas and relaxation rooms, plus locker use and spa uniform rental. Adult admission is $45 Monday through Thursday and $55 Friday through Sunday, valid for one year from purchase and non-refundable. Listed holidays take the weekend rate, and prices include a 4% service fee. Walk-ins can buy admission for the bath areas and saunas without an appointment. Valid government photo ID is required at check-in, and admission is paid at check-in. Bath areas are separated by gender and are nude, with a shower required before the pools. Phones and cameras stay in lockers in locker rooms and bath areas, and recording there carries a $500 fine.
Korean body scrubs are the spa's signature treatment. The women's and men's menus match: a Korean body scrub at $70, Scrub Plus, Scrub & Honey and Scrub & Goddess at $120 each, Scrub & Oil Treatment at $155, Goddess Special at $180 and Golden Goddess Special at $190. Scrubs include shampoo and conditioning, and guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes early. Massages include foot reflexology at $50, Swedish, deep tissue and shiatsu at $120 each, oil and stone at $155, a Spa World Special at $190 and a couple massage at $240, with an 80-minute couple option at $310 that includes hot stone. Oil massages use organic coconut oil, and private and couple rooms are available. Guests should arrive 20 minutes early for a massage, and body treatments are recommended before massages when both are booked.
Bundles pair general admission with one service. The 60-minute bundle is $155 and includes one of several scrubs or massages, the 80-minute bundle is $195 and the 100-minute bundle is $225, each with its own list of options that must be scheduled ahead. A bundle voucher requires the service to be booked before check-in, and it cannot be applied to late cancellation or no-show fees. The business describes its bundles as good value. VIP Membership is sold in one-month ($300), six-month ($1,600) and one-year ($2,900) terms. It includes spa access for one member, VIP lounge access, and 25% off spa services, food and drink and eligible checkout purchases. An optional personal locker costs $50, and the membership has some exclusions.
Kid's World is an indoor play area with cafe access for children, open 10 am to 7 pm Monday through Thursday and 10 am to 8 pm Friday through Sunday. Children 10 and under may use Kid's World only, children 11 to 18 may enter only with a same-sex guardian, and spa services are for guests 18 and older. Body scrubs and massages are not offered at any stage of pregnancy.
Centered on Korean-style body scrubs and time in baths and saunas, with massages and bundles offered alongside. The business describes its approach as holistic and says it uses products it considers the best.
A large, multi-area facility with bath pools, themed sauna rooms, and dining, bar, golf and karaoke spaces.
