Founded in 1998, Spa Gregories operates from two sites, one on Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach and one on Tomas in Rancho Santa Margarita. According to the spa, it is an award-winning day spa, citing an LA Times OC Readers' Choice Award for Favorite Day Spa, an Orange County Register People's Choice award in its Best of Orange County contest, and a Favorite Day Spa Professional Choice Award from American Spa Magazine. Both sites provide massage, facials, body treatments and salon services. Nail services are offered only in Newport Beach, and hair appointments are handled by The Salon at RSM in Rancho Santa Margarita.

About

The signature service is Fassage, a 90-minute session that pairs a full-body massage with a facial meant to cleanse, purify and hydrate the skin. It is priced at $299 in Newport Beach and $249 in Rancho Santa Margarita. Oncology massage is performed by therapists trained for oncology work, and clients who are in or have a history of cancer treatment are asked to request it; it may require a physician's release. The spa's non-profit, Greet the Day, offers oncology massage and restorative bodywork to people affected by cancer in Southern California. Maternity massage is given by therapists trained in techniques for pregnancy, and a 60-minute Pre Natal Facial is designed for skin changes during pregnancy.

Appointments can be booked by phone or online, and walk-ins are welcome although appointments are recommended. First visits begin with a health questionnaire, and guests receive a locker, robe and slippers. Parking is available right out front of each location. Tipping is optional and can be given to staff or added to the bill. Special requests and medical conditions can be noted when booking. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Children under 18 who are not receiving services are not permitted in the spa.

Biohacking circuits are tailored mixes of advanced treatments. The 60-minute Circuit A, priced at $290, draws on a selection of therapies: Stimawell EMS, Sedona Pro PEMF, Avacen and Light Stim Pro. The 90-minute Circuit B, at $330, covers everything in Circuit A and adds personalized coaching with Eileen. Guests can also book single sessions on red light therapy beds, hydro wave therapy beds, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy or an energy lounger. According to the spa, these wellness products are low-risk general wellness items under FDA guidance and are not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Group packages are available for events and celebrations, with inquiries sent to info@spagregories.com. The Spa Day fundraiser sends 15% of proceeds from services booked by six or more guests to participating organizations, and a charity wall lets guests direct donations to causes they choose. Gift certificates can be bought online for any service, and handmade gift certificates are sold at either location. Spa Savor and Complete Wellness memberships are also offered.

Facials begin with a consultation with an esthetician, followed by customized treatment, and the spa describes its products as cruelty-free and environmentally friendly.
