The salon is built around an Eastern wellness philosophy of unblocking and energizing the chi for health and beauty, and Catherine trains the staff in that approach herself.

Facials are the core of the menu. The Cleansing facial is a 60-minute treatment, while the Recover, Revitalize, Rehydrate, and Rejuvenate facials run 75 to 90 minutes and draw on massage, aromatherapy, scalp Gua Sha, oxygen treatment, or bio-micro stimulation. A Special Acne Treatment is available for dry, sensitive, and oily skin; clients are asked to contact the salon before booking it, since it can leave skin tender or irritated. A deep cleansing mask can be added to any facial for an extra $30. Catherine assesses each client's skin needs and creates a personalized treatment from there. The salon describes its facial products as high quality and natural.

Waxing is offered from the face and brows to the full body, including bikini and Brazilian services. Appointments run a minimum of 30 minutes and may be longer or shorter depending on the client.

Manicure and pedicure options run from a 30-minute classic manicure to longer Beautify and Blissful Foot Rescue visits that include massage and paraffin. Shellac is available, and the salon says it is a durable polish that sets quickly and can stay chip-free for up to two weeks. Other choices include dip powder, gel, Gel X, builder gel, and cat eye color finishes.

Spa Chi is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. It does not accept Groupon, LivingSocial, or other daily deal coupons.
