Spa Aeon

Christine Giustra created Spa Aeon in 2017 as an extension of her own clinical practice. The spa sits in Emory Village and draws clients from Druid Hills, Morningside, Inman Park, Candler Park, Decatur and Kirkwood, among other areas.

Every visit starts with a personalized skin assessment. The spa blends several modalities meant to support the skin's own renewal, and plans are built around each client's skin needs, history, lifestyle and goals, so the spa says it does not repeat the same treatment for a client. Home skincare from Nectin supports the in-clinic work, and progress is checked both in the clinic and at home. New and returning clients complete a confidential skincare intake form from home when they book.

Lauren Abrams runs Spray Tans by Lauren at the spa. She specializes in airbrush spray tans that are customized to each client and uses color theory in her work. She serves Atlanta clients as well as film and television clients.

The spa also rents private treatment rooms to independent providers. Room 1 is 171 square feet with a golf course view and tile floor, rented at $970. Rental rooms include high-speed internet, streaming music and all utilities. Providers share laundry facilities, supply their own labeled detergent, and may not use fabric softeners, additives or dryer sheets. Ample parking is available directly in front of the spa, with a ramp. The spa seeks solo providers such as massage therapists, lash artists, electrologists, PMU artists, body contouring specialists, nutritionists and physical therapists, and it avoids duplicating specialties, so skin-focused estheticians, injectors and spray tan businesses are not being considered for rental.
