Sovereign Collective was founded by Ashley Jarvis, a master hairstylist with more than 22 years in the beauty industry. The salon describes itself as the premier luxury salon in New Braunfels. Its stated purpose is to help stylists grow and take control of their careers, and it presents itself as a community built on artistry, independence and collective growth. The team is made up of individual stylists, each with their own specialties.

Color is tailored to each client's hair, skin tone and personal style. Custom Color leans toward low-maintenance results, from deep brunettes to blondes. Signature Blonding uses modern highlighting techniques to create dimensional blonde. Precision Cuts are planned around natural texture, growth patterns and the client's own look. Extensions are applied strand by strand with keratin bonds to add length and volume. Styling is offered alongside these services.

Bookings can be made online or in person. Some salons require a valid credit card to hold an appointment. Listed prices are starting prices and may change based on hair length, density and how long a service takes. Cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made inside 24 hours may be charged up to 50% of the scheduled service, and a missed appointment with no notice may be charged in full. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may be asked to rebook, and cancellation fees may apply. Completed services cannot be refunded, but a client who is unhappy can contact the salon within 7 days to ask about a complimentary adjustment, which is offered when appropriate. Clients should tell the salon about any allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions that could affect a service. Only clients receiving a service may stay in the room unless the salon gives approval.
