The studio's stated aim is to make waxing clean, comfortable and as pain free as possible. The wax is matched to the area: a hard wax for sensitive spots such as the Brazilian, since it grips the hair rather than the skin; a soft wax, removed with cloth, for larger areas such as legs, chest and arms, and for brows; and a film wax, a middle option, for facial services. The salon says the Brazilian is its most popular service.

Booking is by appointment only, made online through the booking link on the website, and walk-ins are not accepted. Before a visit, the salon suggests letting hair grow to about a quarter inch, usually two weeks without shaving, and exfoliating the area a few days ahead. Taking ibuprofen 30 minutes beforehand may reduce sensitivity, and caffeine and alcohol are best avoided before a service. Clients on certain internal medications or topicals, including Accutane and Retin-A, are asked to avoid them before waxing.

Clients can keep waxing appointments during pregnancy up to their due date, and an angled Tempurpedic pillow is available to support them during services. Waxing during a period is allowed, though it may feel more sensitive; the salon suggests skipping waxing on the period and for three days before and after the cycle if that is a concern.

The salon aims to make waxing clean, comfortable and as pain free as possible, choosing the wax type to suit each area.
