Soulcare Standard

Soulcare Standard was founded by esthetician Sabrina Kim, who designs its facial rituals to balance results-driven skincare with time to pause and restore. The studio's facials are named by ritual. The intuitive ritual is its signature facial, with a deep cleanse, gentle exfoliation, a custom mask and scalp massage, and it can be extended with extractions, honey tapping, gua sha, cold or heat therapy or LED light therapy. A shorter focused mini-facial, the essential ritual, includes an energetic release.

Other rituals cover different goals. The dermaplane ritual pairs a double cleanse and dermaplaning with a barrier repair mask. The renewal ritual uses a non-acid KrX green sea peel, which the studio describes as a form of liquid microneedling, followed by a cooling mask. The lifting ritual combines KrX carboxy and V-tox treatments with lymphatic massage and neck and shoulder massage. The sound healing ritual, created with kate, pairs facial techniques with crystal sound bowls and koshi wind chimes. Korean lash lifts are offered as a treatment-focused alternative to a traditional lash lift.

Renewal peel and lifting treatments can be bought as care packages. Three- and four-treatment renewal peel packages cost $495 and $575, and a three-treatment lifting package costs $655, with savings of 11 to 22 percent when pre-purchased. The studio recommends renewal peel treatments every 3 to 4 weeks for the most noticeable results, and says spacing them 6 to 8 weeks apart can still improve skin, more gradually. Lifting package treatments are recommended every 2 to 4 weeks. Gift certificates for rituals range from $111 to $245.

Skin consultations are offered alongside emage Medical Image Pro and SUNLITE. Seoul Glow Lab's site lists an in-person skin analysis session for $99, booked through Soulcare Standard. The studio is open Monday and Wednesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 7 p.m. for select rituals, and Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The studio says it has been featured in Modern Luxury San Diego, Locally Well, Dermatological at UCSD and KPBS Wellness Wednesday.
