Sorcery Color Studio is a small color studio at Posh Studios in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Jess K, a licensed cosmetologist, founded the studio and works behind the chair there. The studio's work centers on lived-in and dimensional color, gray blending and gray coverage, and creating healthy hair with customized maintenance plans.

The color menu includes Lived-In Color in mini, partial and full sizes, sized by how much lightener or color the service uses. There is also all-over single-process color, root touch-ups and glosses, vivid color refreshes and fuller vivid work, and custom color that starts with a consultation. Custom options include heavy blonding, corrective color, gray blending transitions and creative placements such as color blocking. Hand-tied beaded weft extensions are installed with a consultation, along with reinstalls, removals and maintenance. Haircuts, add-on treatments and waxing round out the menu.

A visit is one-on-one, and the studio does not double book. Clients are offered refreshments, snacks, WiFi and chargers, along with aromatherapy and hot towels during services. Music can be played through an Alexa or the owner's playlist. Seating is available in the foyer, and clients are asked to arrive no more than five to ten minutes early. New clients are welcome, daytime slots are usually easy to get, and evening slots book far ahead. The studio does not take new clients on Saturdays.

Booking requires a credit card, which is stored with Square and charged only for no-shows and frequent last-minute changes. Chemical services need clean hair that has been washed within the past 24 hours, while haircut clients can come in with dirty hair. Technical issues with a cut, color or extension install can be corrected at no charge if reported by text within seven days. Hair extension sales and salon service sales are final and not refundable. Hair products are available for purchase.
