Sophisticated Styles 4ULLC works from a location on West Broadway Avenue in Robbinsdale and covers a wide range of styling, from braids and sew-ins to wig installs and natural hair work. The salon is open Tuesday and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm, and it is closed Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Bookings are made through the salon's online booking page.

About

Braiding is a large part of the menu. Flat twists start at $45, cornrows are priced at $50 for eight braids with extra braids and added length or conditioning costing more, and regular feed-in braids start at $60 for two to six braids with all hair included. Standard French braids are offered for both men and women using natural hair. Crochet, boho and knotless styles are priced by size and hair included, with box braids and knotless box braids at the higher end of the list.

Sew-in and extension services include basic and full sew-ins, quick weaves, two-bundle installs, tape-in and I Tips extensions, and customized clip-ins. Quick weaves can be finished with a circle or lace closure, and the luxury full middle part quick weave uses Chi, Amika and Mizani products. I Tips extensions with hair included run from 14 to 26 inches and need a $50 deposit, taken from the install price. Hair is often not included in sew-in and wig prices, but it can be bought at the salon at a discount when the install is booked, and a hair net is added on request. Sew-in removal is free for installs done by the salon's stylist, with a wash available for an extra $20, and walk-in take-downs for installs done elsewhere cost $50 including wash.

Wig services include glueless and glue installs, human lace frontal and 4x4 installs, full lace installs with glue, and maintenance for lace and glue-installed wigs. Natural hair options include straightening with iron work, a natural hair service with a deep conditioning mask and flat iron, and a deep replenishing hot oil silk press. Men's services include a men's enhancement.
