Sonoma Salon Suites

Sonoma Salon Suites is a salon suite location in Windsor Mill, Maryland, at 2307 North Rolling Road. Its home page says the business has operated in Baltimore since 2019. The business describes itself as a luxury salon suite location for independent beauty professionals.

Rather than employing stylists, the building rents private suites to independent professionals. Each suite is described as turnkey and move-in ready, so a tenant can start working without fitting out a space first. Tenants set their own hours, days of operation and service fees.

Each suite has sound insulated walls for privacy, quartz countertops, wall-to-wall custom cabinets and shelves for displaying products, and a color bar. The suite can be painted in a color the tenant chooses. Hair services are supported by a hair dryer, a styling chair, an anti-fatigue mat, and an in-room backwash shampoo bowl with a reclining seat.

Water and electric are included in the rent, and tenants get free Wi-Fi. A free washer and dryer on site handle salon towels, and the building has 24/7 secure access. The business says suite rent is close to what a chair rental costs in a traditional salon.

The home page also includes a directory of professionals working across suites 101 to 127, covering barbers, cosmetologists, natural hair stylists, nail technicians and estheticians. Prospective tenants can call or text 410.324.3967 or use the contact form on the website.

The building is run on an independent model, with each tenant operating their own business and setting their own schedule and prices.

The suites are described as modern and private, with sound insulated walls.
