Microloc clients book a consultation first to confirm the service is available for them, and transfer clients complete a consultation before booking. Consultations can also recommend a different service, which clients may accept or decline.

The braid menu includes 3 Layers Tribal, Alopecia Braids, Box Braid, Feed-ins, Knotless Braids and Microloc Braids. Alopecia Braids are a protective style built around each client's hair. For clients with alopecia or thinning hair, the stylist uses fewer extensions and does not recommend micro parts.

Microloc options include Microloc Braids with Extension, Micro Locks, Microlocs with Extension, Microloc Twist without Extension, Microloc Twist with Extension and Sisterlocks. Extensions usually last one to two years while the natural hair stays locked, and the longest length offered is usually 24 inches. Retie appointments are recommended every four to six weeks.

Hair coloring is available, and should be booked at least two weeks before the service, with the hair washed at least once beforehand. Pricing depends on the size, length and thickness of the hair, and pricing specials are offered infrequently. Booking is done online through Acuity Scheduling with an initial deposit that secures the appointment, and the remaining balance is due at the end of the service. Invoices can be requested for partial payment, Afterpay is available to eligible clients, and payment can be made in cash at consultation or by Zelle. Clients with limited time are asked to contact the salon ahead of their appointment, and the salon does not currently travel outside Houston.
