Somatic Healings

Somatic Healings is a private practice in South Pasadena that combines somatic therapy with bodywork. The practice describes its care as intentional and integrative rather than a quick fix, and it structures its work into three pathways so clients can choose a starting point that fits their needs.

Zen Seekers focuses on the body, aiming for physical relief through massage used for therapeutic purposes, release of fascia, support for scar tissue, lymph drainage and restorative methods. Quantum Leapers goes further, working with physical, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions together. It combines somatic therapy, regulation of the nervous system, support oriented toward the spirit and insight into how the psyche and body interact, and it asks clients to bring presence, readiness and active involvement. Sacred Wanderers is a starting point for people new to this kind of work, introducing somatic awareness, nervous system regulation and the link between mind and body.

The bodywork menu includes Lomi Lomi, a 90-minute session with energy therapy elements, offered exclusively to women and listed at $310. RENEWAL is a 90-minute restorative session with lymphatic drainage, customized to concerns such as swelling, stagnation, fatigue or depletion, from $272. AWAKEN Facial Restoration Treatment is a facial of an hour or more that uses facial sculpting, fascial release, lymphatic activation, scalp therapy and Chua Ka, from $275. Restorative Integration: Healing After Impact is a 12-session series of 90-minute visits to be completed within 16 weeks, designed for people recovering from a car accident, listed at $3,185; it draws on cranial sacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, therapeutic deep tissue work, Reiki, ear reflexology, Ayurvedic Kansa therapy and Chua Ka bone cleaning.

Somatic therapy sessions include Divine Epiphany, a one-hour session offered in person or by telehealth that blends somatic therapy with soul-centered coaching, from $300. Bookings need at least 24 hours' notice, and same-day appointments are not accommodated; the booking form asks for full legal name as on the birth certificate, date of birth and two to three sentences on the intention for the session. The Soul's Journey of Truth is a two-hour session for people who have been through a challenging experience or grief, including Chua Ka bone cleaning, listed at $511. The EVOLVE Series is a therapeutic series of 90-minute sessions combining somatic therapy, emotional and mental support, soul coaching, nervous system regulation, fascial release, cranial work, psychosomatic analysis, energy-based therapies, therapeutic bodywork and auricular therapy, from $1,575.

Work is organized into three pathways, from physical bodywork to deeper somatic and soul-centered therapy, with the intention of being integrative rather than a quick fix.
