Solstice Wax Studio sits on E Ridge Pike in Royersford, Pennsylvania, and is run by its owner, Ally, a licensed esthetician. The studio works mainly in waxing, with bikini and face services, full-body waxing for upper and lower body, and permanent jewelry as the other main offering.

About

Bikini services range from a bikini line wax and a bikini full wax to a Brazilian wax, and face waxing covers areas such as the nose, ears, eyebrows and lip. A full face bundle combines face services, with the exception of eyebrow tinting. Upper body waxing includes the underarms, stomach strip, stomach, back, arms and chest, and lower body waxing covers the inner thighs, legs and buttocks. Add-on services are also available, starting at $20.

Permanent jewelry is offered as bracelets, anklets and necklaces, starting at $50. These appointments are booked for at least 20 minutes.

Clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry skin, with no lotion or oil on the area and no trimming beforehand. Hair should be at least two to three weeks grown out, about the length of a grain of rice, and most body waxing is best scheduled roughly every four weeks. Aftercare advice includes daily moisturizing and exfoliating two to three times a week. Cancellations and reschedules are asked to be given with as much notice as possible.

The studio is open Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. It is closed on Mondays and Sundays.

Visits are kept calm and quick, with a judgment-free feel so clients can relax and be themselves from the moment they arrive.

A soothing, welcoming space where everyone is invited.
