Solimar Day Spa is at 168 Kinderkamack Road in Park Ridge, New Jersey. Services include facials, Hydrafacials, massage, waxing and prepaid packages. The salon says it won Best Massage and Best Waxing Services in the 2024 Official Community Choice Awards for Best of Bergen.
Facial options range from a hydrating treatment for hands or feet to dermaplaning, LED light therapy, a teen facial for teenage skin, and a signature facial. The Hydrafacial comes in silver, gold and platinum levels, and each follows a three-step sequence of cleansing and peeling, extracting and hydrating, then fusing and protecting.
The massage menu includes Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, cupping, and prenatal and postpartum sessions, plus targeted options for athletes, stress relief and foot care. Prenatal clients lie belly down on prenatal design tables, and the salon says those therapists are trained and licensed.
Waxing covers the face, underarms, arms, legs, bikini and back. Cancellations need at least 24 hours notice, and late cancellations and no-shows are charged. Some online bookings require a deposit of $30 to $70. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment. Gift cards come in set amounts or a custom amount and are final sale.
Hours are Tuesday and Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, and the spa is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Hydrafacials follow a set three-step sequence, and deep tissue massage uses slow, deliberate pressure aimed at deeper muscle and connective tissue.
