Solea Skin Studio

Solea Skin Studio is founded by Alexis, a licensed esthetician, and works from a suite inside Phenix Salon Suites in Costa Mesa. The studio focuses on facials and acne care, and each service is adapted to the client's skin needs and concerns.

The Solea Signature comes in two lengths. The 60-minute version at $140 covers a double cleanse, custom exfoliation, extractions as needed, a custom mask with cold globes, Celluma LED light therapy, finishing products and a scalp, neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage. The 90-minute version at $170 adds dermaplaning and a longer massage to the same core steps.

The acne program begins with a 90-minute Acne Consult + First Treatment priced at $170. The visit starts with a discussion of the client's skin worries, what they hope to achieve, and the routine they currently follow. Next comes a first session with two rounds of cleansing, an enzyme-based exfoliant, a current-driven skin stimulation step, Celluma LED light, a cooling-globe hydrating mask, and massage of the scalp, arms and hands. Clients should expect to build a personalized home care routine, which may cost approximately $200 to $250 up front for professional home care products. According to the salon, its Face Reality acne plan reports a 90% clearing success rate. A 60-minute Acne Treatment costs $130 and is offered to clients who already follow a home care routine as part of the Bootcamp program.

The Express Facial is a 30-minute mini facial at $70 with a double cleanse, a custom treatment mask, finishing products and a scalp or neck and shoulder massage. The 0₂ Glow is a 75-minute facial at $150 that combines a double cleanse, cocoa enzyme exfoliation, extractions as needed, an Oxygen Rx oxygen infusion, Celluma LED light therapy and a scalp, neck and shoulder massage. The business describes the 0₂ Glow as suitable for all skin types.

Clients are asked to stop retinol or any form of vitamin A 7 days before the Solea Signature, 0₂ Glow and acne treatments. Arrive 5 minutes early; appointments 10 minutes or more late may be shortened or rescheduled, and those 15 minutes or more late are treated as no-shows. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service total, and no-shows are charged 100%. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100, $200 or a custom amount and are non-refundable as sales are final. The studio is open Monday and Tuesday 11 AM to 7 PM, Thursday 12 PM to 7:30 PM, and Friday 11 AM to 7 PM, and is closed Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
