Summary
Solasta Spa sits on the corner of 32nd Street and Bryant Avenue within the SATTVA Healing Arts building. Founder Laurel Vasileiadis leads the spa, which says its mission is to help clients look and feel their best through customized facials, sugaring and waxing, lash and brow tinting, and skin and body care. The spa describes itself as a warm, welcoming retreat.
The facial menu runs from a 45-minute Solasta Express with a peel, serums and hydration, to a 75-minute Reiki and Gemstone facial that pairs a Reiki treatment with gemstones. The Solasta Glow is a 60-minute facial that uses Vitamin C, botanical AHAs and enzymes and is intended for hyperpigmentation and anti-aging support. Acne Relief is a 60-minute acne-focused facial that includes a skin analysis, extractions, a treatment mask, serums, hydration and SPF. The Solasta Signature Facial comes in 60 or 75 minutes and is listed starting at $130. Autumn Revival, a 75-minute facial with pumpkin extracts and enzymes, is offered only in September, October and November. Baby On Board is a 60-minute facial for expecting and new mothers that uses products the spa describes as its gentlest toxic-free options, and the spa says it suits all skin types. The treatment tables can be raised to ease lower back pressure.
Hair removal is done mainly by sugaring with Tamara's sugaring paste, and strip waxing is also offered for the face and body. Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long, and new clients usually wait 10 to 14 days after their last shave. The spa does not trim hair or provide trimming tools, so clients should arrive ready for service. New clients, and clients returning more than 2 months after a Brazilian service, are asked to book an Initial Visit. Brow and lash tinting can be booked alone or combined, and several brow and lash combinations are priced together.
Advanced treatments include Holistic Lift, a 60-minute treatment that uses hand massage rather than mechanical devices; the spa says Holistic Lift results build with each session. Nano Infusion is a 60-minute micro-needling treatment using the Rezenerate Wand. Dr Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage focuses on the neck, shoulders and face, and Energy Work is a 60-minute hands-on energy healing session. Facial add-ons, such as a deep hydrating mask, dermaplaning and LED therapy, can be added to a Solasta Signature, Advanced or Specialty facial with the same practitioner who performs the main service. Dermaplaning is not recommended for clients with acne or overactive sebaceous glands, and the spa suggests visits every 4 to 5 weeks.
Visits are by appointment only. The spa is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 7pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Clients can call 612-823-5450 or email connect@solastaspa.com.
